Too many Idahoans are forced to go without medical health insurance or prescription drugs because they are way too expensive; this legislation brings us closer to helping them obtain quality, affordable healthcare, said Jim Wordelman, State Director for AARP in Idaho.
AARP implores Governor to enact HIE legislation Legislation that will assist modernize medical records, reduce errors, and improve quality of care for all Illinoisans passed both homes of the Illinois General Assembly and is on its way to the Governor’s table. AARP, which supported the measure, is definitely urging Gov. Quinn to sign it into law. House Costs 6441 was sponsored by Condition Representative Julie Hamos . The expenses passed the House with solid bipartisan support on March 26, and the Senate unanimously on April 29th. The bill, once enacted, will create a Health Details Exchange whose goal is to lessen health disparities, reduce medical mistakes and duplicative checks, enhance care coordination, and help to control healthcare costs.
